Accent Lighting
Short definition
Directional light used to highlight an object, texture or architectural element. It adds depth and hierarchy to a space.
In detail
For effective accent, a contrast ratio of at least 3:1 over ambient light is recommended. It is common on store displays, artwork and façade textures.
