Circadian Lighting
Short definition
Lighting that mimics daylight's changing color and intensity to support the human biological rhythm. It is the basis of human-centric lighting (HCL).
In detail
Short-wavelength blue light has the strongest effect on the circadian rhythm. Therefore, in schools, offices and healthcare buildings, the color and intensity of light are tuned by time of day to support alertness and wellbeing.
